Aveta Malaysia has announced its nationwide Preferred Dealers’ Program as part of its strategy to boost sales by 50 per cent in 2025 and expand its dealer network, particularly in East Malaysia.
The initiative, which follows the recent launch of the Aveta Elite Centre, aims to elevate customer experience and enhance aftersales service through a tiered dealership model comprising Preferred Dealers and Preferred Plus Dealers.
Group Managing Director Steven Lim said the program supports Aveta’s ambition to double sales performance year-on-year leading up to 2026, following a year in which the brand’s business performance has already doubled.
“Malaysia’s motorcycle market has rebounded strongly, with sales exceeding 720,000 units in 2022 and a projected CAGR of 3.5 per cent until 2030,” he said, citing rising demand for efficient, mid-capacity motorcycles.
He added that Aveta’s market presence has grown significantly, especially with the success of its Nova 160 and Vanguard 250 models, which have driven a threefold increase in vehicle registrations.
The Preferred Dealers’ Program introduces a structured dealer ecosystem offering customers a consistent, worry-free ownership experience. Preferred Plus Dealers will operate certified Aveta Service Centres with trained technicians and Aveta-supplied tools, while the flagship Elite Centre will serve as a hub for sales, service, and parts.
Dealers under the new structure will also gain access to exclusive models, reinforcing their role in Aveta’s expanding distribution network.
East Malaysia, which Lim described as Aveta’s largest market, will be a priority in the brand’s expansion plan, with additional Preferred Dealers and service centres to address long-standing challenges in accessibility and support.
Aveta aims to appoint 30 Preferred Dealers nationwide by the end of 2025, with a target of 50 by the end of 2026.
