Cleanpro, Malaysia’s homegrown self-service laundry franchise is paving the road for more investors – local and international, to jump on the laundromat business bandwagon through a brand-refreshing strategy, evident through its booth’s new look at the Franchise International Malaysia 2023 (FIM2023) exhibition.
FIM2023 is an annual franchise exhibition and conference officially organised by the Malaysian Franchise Association (MFA) and the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) – hailed as Southeast Asia’s largest franchise exhibition and conference with approximately 100 renowned international franchise brands.
Expecting about 15,000 visitors this year, Cleanpro foresees a promising number of new franchisees seizing the opportunity to expand into international markets – cementing the significance of the rebranding exercise and launch of the Cleanpro Plus web app in attracting new franchisees while fostering stronger customer affinity.
“The pandemic has profoundly changed the way people conduct business,” says Fung Chee Choong, Group Sales Director of Cleanpro.
“The self-service laundry industry boom happened not only due to increased expectations on hygiene and sanitisation, but also because of its recession-proof business investment model.
“Laundromats remain essential businesses classified under the Covid-19 crisis and this causes the demand for self-service laundry to soar,” he added.
The Cleanpro Plus web app, a lifestyle app that adds value to the customers’ self-service laundry routines, made its debut with its new cashless payment method – making waves across Cleanpro outlets nationwide.
The app will be launched in conjunction with FIM2023, offering customers the option to pay for the service via mainstream cashless payments like credit or debit cards and e-wallets.
