Continental Tyre Malaysia has announced a Tyre Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty for all its passenger cars, SUVs and 4×4 tyres, reinforcing its commitment to customer assurance and product quality. This warranty applies to all Continental, General Tire, and Viking branded passenger cars, SUVs and 4×4 tyres.
This enhanced warranty provides coverage for the full operational lifespan of the tyres, reflecting the brand’s 100% confidence in the durability, reliability and performance on the road.
Replacing the previous five-year manufacturer’s warranty, the new Tyre Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty for the eligible tyres underscores the brand’s unwavering confidence in its engineering excellence while ensuring every tyre meets the highest standards of material and workmanship.

It covers protection against manufacturing defects throughout the tyre’s operational lifespan. However, damages resulting from external factors beyond Continental’s control, such as punctures, cuts, or impacts damage caused by road hazard, are excluded from this warranty.
By offering protection for the entire operational lifespan of the tyre, Continental aims to provide Malaysian drivers with peace of mind and maximum confidence in all their journeys with Continental.
Most importantly, this new Tyre Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty is also retrospectively extended to all eligible passenger cars, SUVs and 4×4 tyres purchased prior to this announcement.
To provide customers with additional confidence, Continental continues to offer protection under its Total Confidence Plan (TCP) Road Hazard Warranty, which provides 12 months of coverage from the date of purchase against unexpected road damages, when purchases are registered via the Conti TCP app.
