Eco-Shop rolls out ‘Raya Cheery-Ah’ campaign to ease Ramadan, Raya preparations

Eco-Shop has launched its ‘Raya Cheery-Ah, Lebih Meriah’ campaign in conjunction with the upcoming Ramadan and Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations, offering Malaysians wider product choices and greater savings at all its outlets nationwide until March 31.

The campaign underscores the importance of togetherness and prudent spending during the festive season, encouraging families to focus on meaningful moments rather than excessive expenditure.

Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director Jessica Ng said the initiative was designed to ease the burden of festive preparations, particularly for families juggling daily responsibilities while planning for buka puasa gatherings and Hari Raya open houses.

“Ramadan and Raya preparations can be overwhelming when families are managing work, household routines and festive planning at the same time. Through this campaign, we aim to make essential items more accessible so families can celebrate with greater peace of mind,” she said in a statement today.

Central to the campaign is the retailer’s commitment to affordability, with products priced at an average of RM2.60 each. According to the company, customers are able to purchase more items within a modest budget compared to conventional retailers, helping to reduce financial pressure during the dual festive period.

In line with the season, Eco-Shop has also expanded its offerings with more than 60 new items introduced through its collaboration with MyKasih. The additional products include daily household staples and larger-value essentials tailored for Ramadan and Raya needs.

Among the items available are food containers and storage solutions for sahur and iftar preparations, festive decorations, kuih jars, serving ware, disposable tableware and various home essentials suitable for hosting open houses. The retailer positions itself as a convenient one-stop centre for both daily Ramadan requirements and Hari Raya preparations.

To further enhance value for shoppers, the company is introducing a Buy 5 Free 1 promotion on selected food and beverage items at all outlets nationwide. The promotion enables families to stock up on snacks and drinks for buka puasa gatherings and Aidilfitri celebrations while stretching their spending power.

Jessica said the company hopes Malaysians will experience a smoother and more enjoyable festive preparation process.

“We want families to feel that getting ready for Ramadan and Raya can remain joyful rather than stressful. With careful planning and smart shopping, celebrations can be more organised, meaningful and truly meriah,” she added.

The ‘Raya Cheery-Ah, Lebih Meriah’ campaign is currently available at all Eco-Shop outlets nationwide.
