KVG explores agricommodity potential for future opportunities

Kenaf Venture Global (KVG) further paves way into the holistic sustainability initiatives through the participation in Malaysia International Agricommodity Expo & Summit (MIACES) in Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) from 26 July 2022 to 28 July 2022.

The expo welcomes delegates from over 20 countries around the globe, which opens a wider opportunity door for all participating delegates.

The event is organised by Malaysia’s Ministry of Plantation Industries and Commodities (MPIC) with the support of Malaysian Rubber Council (MRC), Malaysian Palm Oil Council (MPOC) and Malaysian Timber Council (MTC). Among the main aims for the event is boosting the agricommodity sector to generate the optimum outcomes including revenue for the nation.

The main focus of the initiated partnerships are the expansion of kenaf in upstream, midstream and to downstream levels. Specifically, the collaboration between KVG and Omega group looks at the land expansion for kenaf cultivation while the partnership between KVG and Habiterra looks at the construction of modular housing technology.

The partnership between KVG and Habiterra shall be a stepping stone towards KVG’s involvement in the creation of sustainable buildings in Africa, particularly in the construction of modular house technology and the expansion of KVG plantation in Africa.

Habiterra sees KVG as an ideal partner in achieving the objectives. Hence, the partnership is forged upon mutual interests for both parties including the establishment of international partnership between two continents.
