Malaysia to champion global cyber security agenda through the inaugural CyberDSA

Malaysia is set to host the inaugural Cyber Defence and Security Asia Expo and Conference (CyberDSA) which will be held annually from next year. The event will take place over three days from 15 to 17 August 2023, at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.

This historic milestone was announced by the Minister of Communications and Multimedia, Tan Sri Annuar Musa in his speech that was delivered by Datuk Seri Mohammad Mentek, the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Communications and Multimedia at the event’s launch held in conjunction with the 13th Cyber Security Malaysia – Awards, Conference & Exhibition (CSM-ACE), which will be incorporated into CyberDSA from next year.

Organised by Aerosea Exhibitions Sdn. Bhd, a leading trade exhibition organiser and supported by CyberSecurity Malaysia, the national cyber security specialist agency, CyberDSA 2023 is set to draw more than 5,000 anticipated visitors, 50 VIP delegations from 20 countries, and over 100 exhibitors under one roof.

During the announcement, seven companies pledged their participation in CyberDSA 2023 including Cyble, Huawei, Looka, Swimlane, Syntx Sdn Bhd, TM One and Zetvest Sdn Bhd.

CyberDSA aspires to be the leading regional content-driven event serving the cyber defence and security industry. It aims to connect cyber security professionals and executives in the government and private sectors, driven to accelerate the cyber defence and security agenda through the advancement of future trends including the Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), 5G, as well as Cloud and Blockchain Technology among others.

Heralding future trends and the latest technologies, as well as knowledge and insights on cyber intelligence, the inaugural CyberDSA stage will be shared by regulators, policy makers, military personnel, CISO’s, Government officials, practitioners, and researchers from all over the world.
