The Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) has been consistent in implementing its digital transformation initiative or Enterprise Transformation System (e-TRANS) by strengthening its delivery system for ease of doing business for investors in Malaysia.
The Chief Executive Officer of MIDA, Datuk Azman Mahmud said, MIDA is fully aware that they have to live through the current and future digital revolution.
โWe have been spearheading various on-the-ground initiatives through MIDA’s Automation Project Initiatives, Supply Chain Programmes and Lighthouse Programme to enable our industry players to adopt Industry 4.0 technology drivers such as Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), cybersecurity and big data.
“Moreover, observing the government’s call to accelerate the digitalisation of the government delivery services in this new normal, we have been intensifying our efforts to re-engineer our business processes to raise the efficiency of the various functions at MIDA.
โWe are optimistic that this will increase the ease of doing business for our stakeholders; ultimately, helping companies to prioritise the implementation of their projects in Malaysia,” he said.
