Petronas Dagangan Berhad (PDB) on Thursday launched Café Mesra, a new cafe venture to grow its non-fuel portfolio in the food and beverage (F&B) business.
Café Mesra offers customers quality coffee and food experience with emphasis on fresh and healthy ingredients, at affordable prices.
Cafe Mesra outlets will be strategically located at selected Petronas stations for greater convenience, with a maiden drive-through Cafe Mesra at Petronas USJ20 to cater to motorists on the go.
The cafe’s range of offerings include barista-quality handcrafted coffee, featuring its signature Mesra Latte, that promises a unique latte experience for coffee connoisseurs as well as two new food concepts, Fusion and SayHeart.
True to its name, Fusion offers a unique selection of blended cuisine inspired by different people and culture such as Nasi Goreng Mesra and Nasi Goreng Salsa; whilst SayHeart features healthy yet tasty food for the health-conscious such as plant-based Ayam Masak Merah with cauliflower rice, gluten-free plant-based burger and an all-natural decadent Kuih Bar, specially concocted for Cafe Mesra. Furthermore, SayHeart food items are also locally sourced in support of Malaysia’s local farmers and vendors.
At the launch, Chief Executive Officer of Mesra Retail & Cafe Sdn Bhd, Ian Malcolm Cruddas said, “We look forward to welcoming customers to our cafés. We expect to open and operate 50 Cafe Mesra outlets throughout Malaysia by the end of the year, including standalone cafes and kiosks.”
The all-new Cafe Mesra is available at 11 Petronas stations around Klang Valley and one at Bandar Baru Nilai.
