Haavin Services (M) Sdn Bhd is a locally owned company that provides a fully comprehensive range of solutions in the credit life-cycle. It engages in receivables outsourcing, debt collection and debt purchase.

This company had humble beginnings in the waste management industry before it expanded into credit management. It has taken great strides since 2010 when it had only eight employees. Currently it has 40 employees.

The CEO, Renukamala Gunasegaran said, her company able to make this transformation by means of setting its goal to become a premier one-stop credit management organization.

“The services provided by Haavin Services include phone debt recovery, doorstep collection, support in legal proceedings and portfolio analysis, while its clients comprise various government agencies, commercial industries, including banking and waste management,” she said.

Haavin Services had to go through a baptism of fire in its early days when a number of disgruntled customers became quite hostile and aggressive and stormed their office premises.

“This was mainly triggered by the increasing number of scammers posing as debt collection agencies. However, this bitter experience proved to be a blessing in disguise as Haavin Services has streamlined and improved its communication protocol and ensured solid documentation evidence, which considerably reduced push-back and resistance,” Renukamala said.

The twin principal goals have always been to provide customer satisfaction and ensure robust growth of the company. Haavin Services is committed to create a resilient, successful company that has the capacity to weather the current global economic, health and social upheavals. Haavin Services has also set a goal of reaching an annual revenue income of RM10 million by 2030.
