Xiaomi has officially expanded its mid-range smartphone portfolio with the introduction of the REDMI Note 15 Series, placing strong emphasis on durability, advanced camera capabilities and balanced performance for daily use.
The newly launched line-up consists of four models – REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G, REDMI Note 15 Pro 5G, REDMI Note 15 5G and REDMI Note 15 – all built around what the company describes as REDMI Titan Durability. The concept combines long-lasting battery life, reinforced structural protection, and improved resistance against dust and water.
Leading the series, the REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G is equipped with a 6,500mAh Silicon-Carbon battery, supported by 100W fast charging and reverse charging functionality.
Xiaomi said the battery technology enables higher energy density while maintaining a slim profile, with the Pro models designed to retain at least 80 per cent battery health after extended usage cycles. Other models in the series also feature large-capacity batteries, catering to users with heavy daily usage.
In terms of build quality, the Pro variants have received SGS Premium Performance Certification, demonstrating resistance to drops, bending and pressure. The devices are further protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and a reinforced internal structure.
The top-tier models also carry high-level IP ratings, allowing them to withstand water immersion and exposure to harsh environments, while Wet Touch 2.0 ensures screen responsiveness even when wet.
Photography is another major highlight of the REDMI Note 15 Series. The Pro models debut a 200-megapixel main camera featuring a large sensor and advanced AI processing, enabling detailed images across multiple focal lengths.
Meanwhile, the REDMI Note 15 5G and standard REDMI Note 15 are fitted with a 108-megapixel camera system, offering optical-level zoom for versatile shooting.
Performance-wise, the REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 platform and introduces an advanced cooling system for sustained performance. The series also supports AI-powered features such as Google Gemini, Circle to Search and Xiaomi HyperAI on selected models.
To complement the hardware, the devices feature large, high-brightness displays with eye-care certifications and enhanced audio output, delivering an immersive multimedia experience.
Xiaomi has also collaborated with Discovery Channel and explorer Ed Stafford to showcase the durability of the REDMI Note 15 Series through an upcoming documentary-themed campaign.
The REDMI Note 15 Series is now open for pre-orders until Feb 21, 2026, and will be available nationwide starting Jan 16 through Xiaomi’s official stores and online platforms.
